Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, etc.) with proper certifications
- Maintain public facilities including parks, streets, and drainage systems
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class A or B CDL license
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Texas Class B Water/Wastewater Operator certification preferred
