Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and public grounds upkeep
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in emergency response for weather-related incidents and public safety hazards
- Maintain accurate work records and follow all OSHA and city safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale municipal projects
- Support waste management and recycling initiatives across Baltimore communities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or maintenance roles
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
