Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street maintenance, drainage systems, and park infrastructure
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely under supervision
- Assist in traffic control and work zone setup following OSHA standards
- Conduct routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in extreme conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous construction or public works experience preferred
