Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including road repair, drainage maintenance, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) following strict safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater management and flood control infrastructure projects
- Maintain public spaces, parks, and facilities ensuring ADA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Document daily work activities and report equipment/service needs
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in public works, construction, or related field
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
