Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, landscaping, and facility maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road repair, storm drain maintenance, and park infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response operations during natural disasters
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Experience with public works or construction preferred
