Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) for construction projects
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist in road maintenance and public facility repairs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class A CDL preferred
- Minimum 2 years construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willing to obtain)
- Clean background check and drug-free record
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
