Responsibilities
- Assist in construction/maintenance of roads, sidewalks, and parks
- Operate hand tools (shovels, saws, brooms) and light machinery
- Load/unload construction materials safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Perform manual labor (digging, lifting, carrying materials)
- Collaborate with skilled trades on project sites
- Report hazards and maintain clean work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid Texas driver's license (preferred)
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Basic tool knowledge (preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions precisely
- No experience necessary – training provided
