Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely and efficiently
- Maintain work zones following OSHA safety protocols
- Assist in road repair, park maintenance, and stormwater management
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Collaborate with crews to meet project deadlines
- Document work progress and report safety concerns
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic hand tool proficiency (shovels, picks, wheelbarrows)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Background check and drug screening required
- Reliable transportation to multiple job sites
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions precisely
