Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, grading, and moving dirt, gravel, and debris.
- Maintain and repair public infrastructure such as roads, sidewalks, storm drains, and alleys.
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery, including backhoes, rollers, and dump trucks, under the supervision of a foreman.
- Ensure all job sites adhere to strict safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
- Assist with snow and ice removal operations during inclement winter weather.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class A or Class B Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred but on-the-job training is provided.
- Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
