Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal and ice control operations on public roads and sidewalks during winter months.
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steers, dump trucks, and loaders safely and efficiently.
- Assist with road maintenance tasks such as paving, patching, and crack filling.
- Maintain public infrastructure, including cleaning storm drains, repairing signs, and clearing guardrails.
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, site rules, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License (Class A or B preferred).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
