Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials
- Operate and maintain light/heavy equipment (excavators, jackhammers, trucks)
- Assist in street repairs, sidewalk maintenance, and storm drain clearing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document daily operations and material usage accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico Class R driver's license
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with construction equipment and power tools preferred
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
