Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and landscaping for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, compactors) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain job site safety protocols and assist with traffic control measures
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Assist in road repairs, sidewalk installations, and storm drain maintenance
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid US work authorization
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic hand tool operation knowledge preferred
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Guilford County
