Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor on public infrastructure projects (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Operate hand tools (shovels, picks, jackhammers) and light machinery
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading, and site cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear provided PPE
- Collaborate with crew leads and fellow laborers on daily tasks
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
- Complete daily time sheets and project documentation
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily
