Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for road maintenance, park development, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power washers) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in construction projects including grading, landscaping, and drainage systems
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas and work zones
- Follow OSHA guidelines and city safety standards
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Nevada driver's license (Class C)
- Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
