Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, forklifts, pressure washers)
- Maintain public spaces: parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist with traffic control and safety zone setup
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
- Follow OSHA safety protocols for construction sites
- Collaborate with crew leads on project timelines
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Team player with strong communication skills
