Responsibilities
- Assist in construction/maintenance of public infrastructure (roads, bridges, parks)
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and debris
- Perform site cleanup and safety perimeter maintenance
- Follow OSHA and CAL/OSHA safety protocols
- Document daily work progress and material usage
- Participate in emergency response deployments
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Clear background check (no felonies)
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts (4 days/week)
