Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including asphalt paving, pothole repair, and street sweeping.
- Operate and maintain light to medium equipment such as jackhammers, rollers, and sweepers.
- Assist with traffic control and flagging duties to ensure job site safety.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, roads, and public parking lots during inclement weather.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required, especially during snow events.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is a plus.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
