Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including street sweeping, trash removal, and park maintenance.
- Operate light to heavy construction equipment, such as jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Assist with traffic control, flagging, and road maintenance projects.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies from trucks and work sites.
- Inspect work areas for safety hazards and report maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople and other laborers on large-scale public projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A valid California Class C Driver’s License is mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
