Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers under supervision
- Maintain job site safety protocols and assist in traffic control operations
- Load/unload construction materials and tools for daily project needs
- Participate in stormwater management and drainage system maintenance
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Document work progress and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
