Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including grading, paving, and concrete work.
- Operate heavy construction equipment such as loaders, rollers, and excavators.
- Clear snow and ice from streets, sidewalks, and public walkways during winter months.
- Set up and monitor traffic control devices, cones, and barricades.
- Assist with storm drain maintenance, utility installation, and street sweeping.
- Perform routine inspections of public infrastructure and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Washington State Driverβs License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with construction or public works is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for reading blueprints, measurements, and timecards.
