Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, maintenance, and repair of city infrastructure including roads, parks, and facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., dump trucks, street sweepers) under supervision during training
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, material handling, and debris removal
- Adhere to strict safety standards and OSHA regulations at all times
- Participate in stormwater management and emergency response operations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- No prior experience required – paid training provided
