Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and paving under supervision
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) after completing training
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and vegetation control
- Support traffic control and public safety initiatives
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Maintain clean and organized work sites
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Commitment to completing the 8-week paid training program
