Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping under supervisor guidance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools, and trucks) after completing training
- Maintain public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency response efforts during weather-related incidents
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards at all times
- Participate in community beautification projects and public space maintenance
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required after training)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Basic math skills for measurement and material estimation
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
