Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, grading, and asphalt patching
- Operate city equipment (saws, jackhammers, dump trucks) after certification
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and flood prevention projects
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety compliance checks
- Participate in emergency response during natural disasters
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment maintenance records
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Florida Driver's License (Class E or higher)
