Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, graders, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, drainage repairs, and vegetation control
- Assist in stormwater management and flood prevention initiatives
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public works documentation
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure repairs
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year construction/maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
