Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on public facilities, roads, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, graders, and trenchers
- Conduct safety inspections and implement OSHA-compliant protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
- Respond to emergency repairs during inclement weather

Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (Class A/B preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in public works or heavy equipment operation
- Certification in confined space entry and trench safety
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in adverse weather conditions
- Proficiency with GIS mapping and maintenance tracking software
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
