Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment (snowplows, graders, dump trucks)
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard mitigation
- Support park and recreation area maintenance projects
- Document work activities using digital tracking systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during city-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years equipment operation experience
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
