Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair city sidewalks, streetlights, and traffic signals
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, graders, and street sweepers
- Perform routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Implement erosion control and landscape maintenance projects
- Coordinate emergency storm response and debris removal
- Maintain accurate work logs and safety documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license (Class B preferred)
- 2+ years experience in public works or civil maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
