Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (snow plows, graders, sweepers) for street infrastructure
- Perform preventative maintenance on public facilities and park equipment
- Respond to weather emergencies and disaster recovery operations
- Conduct water quality testing and stormwater system inspections
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Certification in water treatment or wastewater management preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
