Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery including street sweepers, graders, and sewer line inspection equipment
- Perform routine inspections of public infrastructure including roads, bridges, and drainage systems
- Execute preventative maintenance plans for municipal facilities and equipment
- Respond to emergency repairs during inclement weather and crisis situations
- Document maintenance activities using digital work order systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in maintenance technology preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience in municipal infrastructure or heavy equipment operation
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency with preventative maintenance software and diagnostic tools
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Tulsa residency required within 6 months of hire
