Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Operate heavy equipment including trucks, loaders, and snow removal machinery
- Respond to emergency service requests and infrastructure repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in disaster response and recovery operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License
- 2+ years experience in public works, construction, or maintenance
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools
- Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
