Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (street sweepers, mowers, snow removal equipment) with precision and safety compliance
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, playgrounds, and green spaces
- Respond to emergency weather events (snow, floods, wind damage) within 4-hour response window
- Document work orders using digital systems and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for infrastructure projects
- Conduct daily safety inspections and report hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B required
- 2+ years experience in equipment operation or facility maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and preventive maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
- Pass background check and drug screening
