Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on traffic signals, streetlights, and pedestrian crossings
- Operate specialized equipment including aerial lifts, trenchers, and hydraulic tools
- Conduct infrastructure inspections using diagnostic tools and digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and material usage
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Respond to after-hours emergencies during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in infrastructure maintenance
- Valid Oregon Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Certification in traffic signal systems or streetlight maintenance preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and digital reporting platforms
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Experience with trench safety and excavation protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems
