Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and storm drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, loaders, and street sweepers
- Respond to emergency repairs during inclement weather events
- Inspect public facilities for safety hazards and compliance with regulations
- Assist with snow removal and ice control operations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public works or heavy equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
