Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on municipal buildings, parks, and recreational facilities
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, loaders, and street sweepers
- Inspect and maintain stormwater drainage systems and irrigation infrastructure
- Respond to emergency service calls for public facility issues
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and municipal regulations
- Document maintenance activities using digital work order systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of commercial or municipal maintenance experience
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class B)
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
