Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment for road maintenance and park upkeep
- Perform preventative maintenance on municipal facilities and vehicles
- Respond to emergency repairs during weather events
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols
- Document work activities and submit reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Clean background check and driving record
