Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct site inspections and document maintenance activities using digital reporting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and municipal safety regulations
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during inclement weather
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of infrastructure maintenance experience
- Valid Texas Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and physical examination
