Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on municipal facilities, vehicles, and equipment
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, graders, and street sweepers safely
- Respond to emergency repairs during storms and weather events
- Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document work activities using digital reporting systems
- Support recycling/solid waste operations and snow removal initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years maintenance experience
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Basic computer skills for reporting systems
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
