Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and public grounds
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, tractors, snow removal tools) safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency repairs for streets, drainage systems, and public utilities
- Conduct regular inspections of municipal assets and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Oklahoma Class D Driver's License with clean record
- Minimum 2 years experience in groundskeeping or facility maintenance
- Certification in equipment operation (e.g., CDL or heavy machinery preferred)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
