Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on city infrastructure including roads, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, graders) and specialized equipment safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency service calls during inclement weather and public safety events
- Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities using digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and municipal regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years infrastructure maintenance experience
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Tulsa residency required within 6 months of hire
