Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, excavators, and pavement equipment
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (snow removal, flood control)
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams on capital improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Oklahoma Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Residency within Oklahoma City limits required
