Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery for street maintenance and repairs
- Perform routine inspections of water/sewer infrastructure
- Manage stormwater drainage systems and erosion control
- Coordinate emergency response during weather events
- Maintain accurate digital records of maintenance activities
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Collaborate with engineering teams on capital projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B)
- Minimum 2 years infrastructure maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Proficiency with GIS mapping software
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic plumbing/carpentry skills preferred
