Responsibilities
- Maintain city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment safely (dump trucks, graders)
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs
- Perform routine inspections of public facilities
- Coordinate with engineering teams on projects
- Document maintenance activities and reports
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years infrastructure maintenance experience
- Valid Class C California Driver's License
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Background clearance and drug testing required
