Responsibilities
- Maintain city parks, recreation facilities, and municipal buildings
- Operate heavy equipment (mowers, tractors, trenchers) safely and efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and plumbing Respond to emergency repairs during weather events
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities in digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Class B CDL license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2 years facilities maintenance experience
- Certification in HVAC or plumbing preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic proficiency in work order management software
