Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on municipal roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment including dump trucks, graders, and snow removal machinery
- Conduct infrastructure inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with engineering teams on capital improvement projects
- Respond to emergency weather events and service requests
- Maintain equipment calibration and safety compliance records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Milwaukee residency required within 6 months of hire
