Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on city facilities, roads, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment including trucks, mowers, and excavation tools safely
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs and storm-related incidents
- Conduct routine inspections and document maintenance activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance or construction
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and hand tools
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varied weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of blueprints and technical schematics
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
