Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery including asphalt rollers, street sweepers, and backhoes
- Respond to emergency repairs during inclement weather
- Conduct regular inspections of public infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and equipment records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- Certification in heavy equipment operation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Successful completion of background check
