Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Perform preventative maintenance on city vehicles and equipment
- Respond to emergency storm damage repairs (24/7 rotation)
- Maintain parks, playgrounds, and athletic facilities
- Document work orders and submit progress reports
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on public improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Oklahoma Class A CDL license
- 3+ years heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Emergency response certification preferred
