Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and parks.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as dump trucks, front-end loaders, and street sweepers.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and weather-related incidents (e.g., snow removal).
- Remove graffiti, litter, and debris from public properties.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed while on the job.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in public works, construction, or landscaping is preferred.
- Ability to operate a variety of light and heavy machinery.
- Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
