Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, snow removal equipment)
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Respond to service requests and emergency repairs promptly
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate work records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to operate hand/power tools safely
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all weather
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
